Doctorate "Yes" or "No"?

Information event organised by the doctoral office for Master's students

This event is aimed at anyone interested in doing a doctorate at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities after completing their Master's degree.

Are you considering whether you have what it takes to do a doctorate? Would you like to know what preparatory steps are necessary for a successful start? Are you not yet sure whether a doctorate suits your own life situation?

Dr Julia Siep from the Doctoral Office at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities will give you an overview of the requirements for a doctorate. Together you will discuss the pros and cons of a doctorate and reflect on the different levels that are important for your individual decision-making process. Information on the qualification programme and advisory services offered by the Graduate Academy philGRAD will round off the event.

There will be plenty of time and space to ask questions and exchange ideas with like-minded people.
