The open writing group is aimed at anyone who wants to make progress with their individual writing project. The satisfying feeling of having taken time for your own writing project will carry you through the week and motivate you to continue writing. Work is done online and in person in sessions of varying lengths (between 25 and 45 minutes), with deliberate 5-minute breaks between sessions.
No registration is necessary. The open writing sessions can be attended spontaneously and/or (ir)regularly every Monday and/or Wednesday. You can join at any time!
For the writing session on Monday, just drop by.
The link to the regular writing session on Wednesday can be found here.
We will be writing in 4 sessions of 25 minutes each during the following time slots:
12:05 PM – 12:30 PM
12:35 PM – 1:00 PM
1:05 PM – 1:30 PM
1:35 PM – 2:00 PM
During these writing sessions, the door to the workshop room is closed. If you’d like to join a later writing session, please do so during one of the 5-minute breaks (the door will be open then).
Door closed = we’re writing, please do not disturb
Door open = we’re taking a break; you’re welcome to join us.
The Open Writing Sessions is a program offered by philGRAD.
Dr. Kristina Rubarth is the Executive Director of the Graduate Academy. Dr. Gina Möller is the Acting Executive Coordinator of philGRAD and a certified coach.
Both are there to help doctoral students with any questions they may have regarding their doctoral studies.
