Networking Events
The doctoral student representatives, together with the Graduate Academy, cordially invite you to a relaxed networking event. Over drinks and snacks, you can get to know other doctoral students, exchange ideas, and kick off your evening. Working on your dissertation together makes it feel less lonely!
These networking evenings take place at least once a semester - dates will be announced here and via our newsletter.
The next After(Net)Work will take place on September 29, 2026. Please register in advance if possible so we have an idea of how many people are coming. Spontaneous guests are also welcome!
The doctoral student representatives
Viviana Warnken is a research assistant and doctoral candidate under Prof. Dr. Marc Ziegele at the Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Communication and Media Studies.
Since April 2026, she has served as the doctoral student representative for philGRAD and is committed to advocating for the interests of doctoral students in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
Tim Grasshöfer is a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Epistemology and Philosophy of Language.
Together with Viviana Warnken, he has served as the representative for doctoral candidates in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities since April 2026.
